Choosing the Right Product for You
For some people, swallowing pills can be difficult. In fact, approximately 40% of American adults have difficulty swallowing pills. If you find that you have trouble swallowing a certain kind of pill, check to see if it comes in a different form or shape. TYLENOL® products come in many forms, sizes, and strengths. Use the product comparison chart below to help choose the TYLENOL® product that's right for you.

For additional help, consider some of these tips:
  • Keep in mind uncoated pills may be harder to swallow than coated or gelatin pills.
  • Be sure you moisten your mouth and throat. Swallow some water or other beverage before taking a pill.
  • Try drinking liquid with a straw when taking a pill, instead of out of a glass.
  • Check to see if your medication comes in another form such as liquid or gelatin capsule.
