You can give your child Infants' Tylenol without regard to meals according to directions on the package label.
Can I mix Infants' Tylenol with baby food?
Do not mix Infants' Tylenol Concentrated Drops with baby formula. Instead, give the medication directly to your child. You may follow up the dose with baby formula.
Do I need to shake the drops before giving Infants' Tylenol to my child?
Although, as with any suspension product, our label states "shake well before using," Infants' Tylenol Concentrated Drops is formulated to maintain suspension uniformity.
Can I use a different cup, dropper, or spoon than the one that came with Infants' Tylenol?
Use only the enclosed dosing device to give your child Infants' Tylenol Concentrated Drops. Tylenol products have been specially designed for use with the enclosed droppers, syringes and cups. Never use spoons, droppers or cups that come with other medicines. Do not use any other dosing devices with these products.
How are Infants' Drops different from Children's Suspension Liquid?
Infants' Tylenol Concentrated Drops are more concentrated than
Children's Tylenol Liquids. The concentration of Infants' Tylenol
Concentrated Drops is 80 mg of acetaminophen per 0.8 mL (160
mg acetaminophen per 1.6 mL = 2 dropperfuls). For accurate dosing,
follow the dosing
instructions.

What should I do if my infant's pain or fever persists?
Consult your child's doctor if your child's pain or fever persists or gets worse.
Do not give your child Infants' Tylenol:
For more than three days for fever unless directed by a doctor.
For more than five days for pain unless directed by a
doctor.
What should I do if there is redness or swelling?
Stop using Infants' Tylenol and consult your child's doctor immediately if redness or swelling is present.
What should I do if my infant has a sore throat?
Stop using Infants' Tylenol and consult your child's doctor immediately if your child's sore throat:
Is severe.
Lasts for more than two days.
Occurs with fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting.
What should I do if my infant's symptoms don't improve, or if new symptoms appear?
Stop using Infants' Tylenol and consult your child's doctor immediately if:
Your child's symptoms do not improve.
New symptoms occur.
Can I give Infants' Tylenol to my infant with other pain relievers?
Do not use with any other product containing acetaminophen. Use of Tylenol with other pain relievers (such as aspirin or ibuprofen) is not recommended.
