A $1,000,000 fund to help injured athletes on the road to recovery
The Care Commitment by TYLENOL® exists to help fund athletes facing painful setbacks as they recover & continue their pursuit of greatness.
As part of the larger Greatness Hurts.™ campaign, The Care Commitment by TYLENOL® recognizes that pursuing greatness hurts. So, TYLENOL® will be there to provide Care Without Limits.
TYLENOL® is committing $1,000,000 in funding over three years to help athletes recover from injury and compete once again, starting this year by sponsoring the Women’s Sports Foundation® (WSF®).

Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant
The WSF’s Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grant aims to help women athletes overcome pain and recover from setbacks to their career caused by injury, ultimately helping them achieve their career goals. The grant application is now open and an additional 12 elite women athletes will be selected for $10,000 in funding to support their recovery journey after being sidelined by injury. Eligible applicants can apply now through Wednesday, April 8 at www.WomensSportsFoundation.org/RecoveryGrant.

2025 Athlete Recovery and Care Commitment Grantees

Adelaide Aquilla
Track & Field (Shot Put) - Westlake, OH
In March 2025, Adelaide underwent ankle surgery after sustaining an injury during competition. Now, through a variety of recovery tools Adelaide has been able to access, she’s on her way back to elite competition.

Beatrice Kim
Snowboard Halfpipe – Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA
Beatrice missed the 2024-2025 snowboard season while recovering from shoulder surgery after multiple injuries. Beatrice is now working with various coaches to help make up for lost time.

Stacy Gaskill
Snowboard Cross - Golden, CO
In early 2024, Stacy suffered from a torn ACL that left her unable to compete in any others races that year. With full effort on rehab, Stacy is looking forward to coming back stronger than ever.

Deanna Price
Track & Field (Hammer Throw) – Champaign, IL
Despite competing in the 2024 Olympic Games, Deanna’s season was impacted by a hamstring injury that left her unable to do her best. Now with the injury behind her, Deanna is determined to come back stronger than ever and empower the next generation of women athletes.

Kimberly Goetz
Speed Skating – West Jordan, UT
In 2024, Kimberly suffered from a back injury during training that resulted in surgery. Kimberly is on the road to a full recovery and excited to get back on the ice!

Audrey Shin
Figure Skating – Colorado Spring, NY
In November 2024, Audrey suffered from several injuries after enduring a couple of bad falls during training. Audrey is now focused on her recovery journey, which includes physical therapy, access to specialized care, and cover recovery tools essential for healing.

Yen Hoang
Para Track & Field – Vancouver, WA
In 2025, Yen underwent surgery on her wrist that she had injured racing 18 months earlier. With the help of hand therapy, Yen has been able to regain strength and return to competition.

Emily Sweeney
Luge - Lake Placid, NY
After multiple neck injuries, Emily was forced to participate in her sport with limitations. Thanks to the additional funding, Emily was able to purchase vital equipment that helps strengthen her neck and get her back into competing at the highest level.
